He took over SmartMill in 2020 to continue offering niched technology and services to the forestry industry but also focusing on diversification.
The recent diversification helped partnered with Texcana to bear fruit with engineered products for biofuel such as black pellets. Most recently, the engineering know-how of SmartMill has been involved in developing the fundamentals of giant bamboo to create desalination technology for Neowall.
